| This custom designed and built mold sprue degating system sits next to a molding machine and automatically receives a complete molded fingernail mold sprue array from a molding pick and place which is placed into a special vacuum hold tooling shown in picture. The laser trims the sprue and runners off and cuts the nail gates within .005 of an inch on every nail. Individual nails are automatically placed into separate totes as is the sprue and runners. A complete nail mold sprue is received, held, laser trimmed and offloaded into separate totes every 7 seconds. A multitude of different nail mold sprue arrays can be processed without tooling change. |  |
