About Us   Limpro Equipment & Services Inc. was started by it’s founders due to a new emerging market need to mold small precise parts known now as “Micromolding”. The founders have been involved with small part molding since 1986 so there is no lack of experience. Originally their start with silicone elastomers began in LIM (liquid injection molding) and LSR (liquid silicone rubber) specialized molding machines for intra-occular lenses implanted permanently inside human eyes with over 80 different power of unique lenses to be molded. Some with and some without haptics additionally that are insert or overmolded. Some of the soft and delicate lenses were less then one MiL thick, and had to be molded optically clear and blemish free without tearing the fragile lenses during mold removal. One of the first true class 100 medical clean room molding machines had to be pioneered that also allowed the upmost flexibility in quick change over time and set up. Since that time, 1986, many processes and techniques were developed for implantable and other medical devices including other industries that included Aerospace and Military Contract Defense connectors, consumer products, electronics including cable assemblies that eventually went across all industries. Because of the founders background in highly state of the art customized automated machine systems many evolutions of features, benefits and minor improvements have been incorporated since 1986. Vertical and horizontal injection, parting line and non-parting line injection, materials outside of silicone elastomers and co-injection of like and unlike materials have been introduced.
